PostHog (Analytics)

Anthropic Claude (AI Generation)

  • Generates conversation prompts based on your settings
  • Only receives: relationship type, preset, depth preference
  • No personally identifiable information is shared
  • Prompts are not stored or logged

Push Notifications (Expo)

  • Local notifications are scheduled on your device for session reminders and retention nudges
  • A push notification token is generated if you grant permission — used only to deliver notifications to your device
  • Notification preferences (time, frequency, toggle states) are stored locally on your device
  • You can disable notifications at any time in the app's profile settings or your device settings
  • We do not use notifications for marketing or advertising

Reveal Feature - Data Handling

The "Reveal" feature allows you to explore conversation prompts about mental health topics. Here's how we handle this data:

Topic Selection

  • The topics you select (e.g., "Anxiety," "Grief") are stored locally on your device to remember your preferences
  • Topic selections are only transmitted for prompt generation and error debugging
  • We do not track, profile, or analyze which mental health topics you explore
  • Topic history is stored only to avoid showing duplicate prompts

No Health Data Collection

  • We do not collect any health information as defined by HIPAA or similar regulations
  • Your use of Reveal topics does not constitute health data
  • We do not share any information with healthcare providers, insurers, or any third parties for health-related purposes

Dynamic Prompt Generation

  • When online, prompts may be dynamically generated
  • Only your topic selection, relationship type, and depth preference are sent to generate relevant prompts
  • No personally identifiable information is included in generation requests
  • Dynamically generated prompts are not stored or logged on our servers

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your stored preferences
  • Delete your data by resetting the app
  • Opt out of analytics collection
  • Request information about data we hold

Children's Privacy

Connection Cards is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.
