About Connection Cards
Connection Cards is a free app with thousands of conversation prompts designed for couples, friends, and families. It helps you have meaningful conversations about relationships, mental health, and connection. Our prompts are emotionally safe and consent-forward.
Yes. Connection Cards is completely free to use with no hidden fees, subscriptions, or paywalls. Every prompt across all relationship types and categories is available at no cost.
Connection Cards was created by 8750.Studio, with a focus on making therapy-informed conversation tools accessible to everyone. Our prompts are designed using research-backed approaches to healthy communication.
Unlike subscription-based apps, Connection Cards is free forever. We focus on safety-first design with consent gates, pass options on every prompt, and never include content that diagnoses, scores, or advises ending relationships.
How to Use
Download Connection Cards free from the App Store. Select your relationship type (romantic, friendship, family, or business), choose a conversation preset, and start exploring prompts together.
No account is required. Connection Cards works instantly in your browser with no sign-up needed. Your preferences are stored locally on your device.
Yes. Connection Cards is available as a free app on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Download it and start connecting right away.
Connection Cards is designed to be used together in person. One person holds the device and reads prompts aloud, or you can pass the phone back and forth. For long-distance relationships, screen share during a video call.
Connect Mode
Connect Mode offers conversation presets designed to build and strengthen relationships: Spark (light reconnection), Deepen (vulnerable questions), Play (fun activities), Closeness (intimacy), Vision (future planning), Repair (after conflict), and Dinner Party (group conversations).
For most couples, we recommend starting with Spark - it's lighter and helps you reconnect without feeling too intense. Once you're comfortable, try Deepen for more meaningful conversations. Use Repair only when you're ready to address specific conflicts.
The Spicy toggle (available for romantic relationships) adds more intimate prompts to your session. When off, prompts focus on emotional connection. When on, you'll see prompts that explore physical intimacy and desire in a tasteful, non-graphic way.
Absolutely. Select 'Friendship' or 'Family' as your relationship type and you'll get prompts specifically designed for those connections. The Dinner Party preset is perfect for group gatherings.
Reveal Mode
Reveal Mode provides conversation prompts for sensitive mental health topics including depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, loneliness, and self-worth. These prompts help you have supportive conversations without judgment.
No. Reveal Mode is a conversation tool, not a mental health treatment. It can help you talk about difficult topics with loved ones, but it's not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek help from a qualified professional.
Use Reveal Mode when you want to have supportive conversations about mental health. Choose the relevant topic, read prompts together, and take your time. Remember that both people can pass on any prompt that feels too difficult.
Yes. Each Reveal Mode topic includes links to professional resources. For immediate crisis support, contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US) or your local emergency services.

Yes. All prompts are reviewed to ensure they're emotionally safe and consent-forward. We never include prompts that diagnose mental health conditions, score relationships, advise ending relationships, or contain explicit sexual content.

No. Your actual conversations are never recorded, saved, or transmitted. Connection Cards simply displays prompts - what you discuss stays between you and your conversation partner.
